Wednesday Foto - Diosa Canales

This week's Wednesday Foto is Diosa Canales. Diosa is a model and a singer. She's about to release her first album, called La Bomba Sexy Venezuela, in a style described as a fusion of merengue and reggaeton.

She is famous, also, for making promises of getting naked if her country's national football team wins a football tournament.

She's already appeared nude on her Twitter account....

 Whatever...

Monday Foto - Marlana Aref

After watching more than my share of football over the past four days, I thought it would be fitting to feature an NFL cheerleader as the Monday Foto.

Actually, 22 year old Marlana Aref is a former Tampa Bay Buccaneer cheerleader. Last I checked, she was studying Psychology. You'll notice that Marlana stands out with her perfectly natural smile. Everything else is also "perfectly natural."

Friday Foto - Holly Peers

Friday Foto, today, is imported from England!
She's 24 year old Holly Peers, a native of Manchester.

As usual, click the image to get the full effect and have a nice weekend!

Black Friday

This is an interesting situation. It involves the manipulation of the buying public, it utilizes the illusion of low prices, it preys on the insecurity of the holiday shopper, as she and he goes into debt, and translates to huge profits for huge retailers.

Today is Black Friday. It is called Black Friday because today's retail profits are said to pull the stores "out of the red" and into the "black." They are saying that until today's madness, stores were losing money and operating in the red.
 Baloney!
It's all a sham! Phony as can be - and we only have ourselves to blame! We no longer shop local. Instead, we shop at the national stores. You know, the "Big Box" stores that sit in the big shopping centers and malls. Ask yourself this, "When a store pays more than $100,000 a month in rent, should I expect a low price?" Of course not! Who ultimately pays for the overhead? You do, bunky. Here's the remedy. Shop local. I recently bought a set of tires for my car. I bought from a small "Ma and Pa" tire store. I know the owners, they know me.  They were there when I ordered the tires. They were there the next day when the tires were installed. They appreciated my business and I appreciated knowing that my money was not going to a giant corporation in another state (or country.) This is something that is lost. Consumers caring about their local retailers and vice-versa. This is an old fashioned concept.

The way that things are headed, we will become nameless, faceless consumers, shopping at mega stores owned by nameless, faceless people who live "out of town" who hire part time clerks, with little or no benefits, who know (or care) little or nothing about the store and are counting the hours until they can pick up their minimum wage paychecks!

My advice is to shop local. Buy from your neighbors, you know, people who would never ask you to wake up at 2 in the morning to save 50% on a toy that has a 300% markup. Or (my favorite) an advertised special which has suddenly become "sold out!"Black Friday? A great time to spend with your family, to catch up on sleep, watch an old movie on TV, eat a turkey sandwich, and to shop local!

Russian Anchor Flips B.O. The Bird

This is causing quite a stir. Russian anchorette, Tatiana Limanova, on Russia's REN Channel, on live TV, appeared to raise her middle finger while reading a story about President Obama. See the video here.

Limanova is an experienced, award winning journalist. Having worked as an anchor in live TV, let me tell you what I think really may have happened. You will notice on the video that her speech stumbled a bit at the beginning of the story. Obviously she was not reading a teleprompter. It is difficult for a live anchor to know when the video begins to run. (We would tap the news desk to alert the reader.) She probably thought that she was "off camera" when she made her salute to the crew.

That's what I think.....or she really has a low opinion of Obama.Reports indicate that she has been suspended.

Arrested For Bad Butt Injections

This one is a little hard to believe. There's a transgender woman in the Miami, Florida area who has been arrested for practicing medicine without a license. Cops say that 30 year old Oneal Ron Morris injected a woman's buttocks, back in May. Cops say that Morris injected a substance consisting of cement, "Fix a Flat," mineral oil and "Super Glue." Police say that the incision was then filled with "Super Glue." The victim was later hospitalized with a serious medical condition as a result of the injections.
Authorities say that Morris is a man, even though he looks like a woman and that he apparently did some "work" on his own "bottom." Police are searching for other victims.

Last week was a disaster for my picks. I was in attendance at the Jacksonville - Indianapolis game. After watching the Colts, up close, I'd say that if they win one single game, it would be a miracle! It's sad to see a team fall so quickly.

carolina at DETROIT
tampa bay at GREEN BAY
buffalo at MIAMI
OAKLAND at minnesota
DALLAS at washington

Ebonics

From PENN STATE to the STATE PENN?

The Penn State scandal has been simmering for more than a week. It's interesting to hear how this is being reported. When Coach Joe Paterno was fired, there was an accent on his many years of service to Penn State and bla bla bla. Here's what nobody is saying......Football is just a damn game...that's all. Sexually assaulting young boys must never be ignored in favor of anything. God, I hate the pompous, self absorbed people of the world who think that they are above the law - for the sake of the big bucks brought in by big time College Football. Solution? Criminal trial followed by jail time for the guilty, including those guilty of knowing and doing nothing.

Monday Foto - Candy Ace

Today is Monday....a great time for the Monday Foto! Today, we feature a nice little model named Candy Ace. This, of course, is not her real name. After all, she may want to run for the U.S. Senate, one day, and would not want to have to explain stuff like this. Details on Miss Ace are sketchy. I did hear that she gets excited about guys who surf to obscure blogs to view her pictures. Go figure?Click the image to get the full picture.....and have a great week!

If you are currently in the service, we at the blog thank you.  We are  also pleased to see that you are getting the appreciation that you justly deserve.

Many of us could have used a "thank you" 40 years ago.
It wasn't happening.

Happy Veterans' Day...I hope you save a bunch on those Veterans' Day Sales!

Friday Foto - Daniela Tamayo

Friday Foto and from Columbia, we introduce 23 year old Daniela Tamayo.

EAS Test

W e should not be surprised. The government forces radio and television stations to purchase expensive equipment for the EAS - Emergency Alert System - and plans for a massive nationwide test. They had today's test planned for several months. The TV and radio stations sacrificed "commercial time" to air messages warning the public that "This is only a test." The result of the test, only some of the broadcast stations received the test. Where I live, at least one of the larger radio stations received and broadcast the test. Many smaller stations did not. To make matters worse, we hear this from the FCC, “The Test served the purpose for which it was intended – to identify gaps and generate a comprehensive set of data to help strengthen our ability to communicate during real emergencies. Based on preliminary data, media outlets in large portions of the country successfully received the test message, but wasn’t received by some viewers or listeners. We are currently in the process of collecting and analyzing data, and will reach a conclusion when that process is complete.”

Actually, "heads should roll" because of today's failure.  If this were 1931, I could understand equipment failure, but this is 2011!  With the money spent on this project and with the time given to perfect it, there is no excuse for even a partial failure

So, it was a success, because they discovered that it did not work.?   We are not getting what we are paying for...but with the government, we seldom do.

 Hopeless.

Wednesday Foto - Courtney Cass

This week's Wednesday Foto features a domestic product. We travel to America's heartland and Dekalb, Illinois to find Courtney Cass. Courtney has also traveled under the name of Courtney B.

I'd like to point out to the skeptics that everything you see, here, in the image is natural and God-given. (Thank you, God!) If you feel the need for a closer inspection, click the image!

Have a nice remainder of the week!
