Super Bowl XL had more than its share of questionable officiating. The better team won (probably). The commercials were conservative as you would imagine, being that we are still in the Janet Jackson Era.
Which makes me wonder about the half time entertainment. Did Mick Jagger forget the song lyric or what....in a couple of places...during "Start Me Up," the line "you make a dead man come" was cut short. A barnyard reference to "cocks" in the new song "Rough Justice" also mysteriously disappeared. I'd give the "production" (ABC/NFL/Etc) a C. Perhaps less, but I was away from the TV during the National Anthem.
