It's been a tough week for celebrities! Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett both passed on. You may have heard that Michael Jackson is no longer with us. But in a bizarre sequence of events, TV pitchman Billy Mays died. He was said to be slightly injured in an airplane mishap. He seemed to be ok, but he never woke up, this morning. I liked Mays. He was very good at what he did. The case could be made that he could be irritating at times, but he "came across" as believing in the product. He had a no-nonsense, "This-Crap-Is-Great" approach. He seemed to enjoy his work. His coworkers say that he was kind and generous.
You know, I've never tried Oxy Clean. Maybe I should get Mrs. General Tom to run out and get some of the stuff.
