Somebody's got money!
Dennis Hopper's Andy Warhol Painting of Mao brought $302,500 at auction!
Part of the attraction to this work is the fact that the late actor is said to have shot two bullets into the painting. The two holes are visable. Warhol honored Hopper by listing him as the work's collaborator.
The painting had been valued at roughly $30,000!
When I think of $302,500 being spent on something like this, I wonder if the buyer (whoever he is) has anyone working for him for minimum wage?
