Would it have been a problem to wait? No due date has been announced. Due to Tom's religious beliefs, Katie will deliver the child without the benefit of any pain killers. She will also not be permitted to moan or shout during delivery. Fascinating! This is Cruise's first biological child, her's too. Cruise has been married twice, this would be the first for Holmes.
