Citi Bank

The NY Mets will be playing in a new stadium next season. CitiBank bought the naming rights to the field for $400 Million for 20 years. That's 20 million a year or close to 1/4 million for each Mets' home game.

So what?

Well, here's what. You and I have been bailing out these jerks to the tune of more than 40 Billion dollars.

The logical question is "Do you feel comfortable not only in saving their financial ass, but in contributing to feed their ego by naming a Major League ballpark after themselves?"

One more thing, Shea Stadium held 55,000 fans. Citi Field will have seating for 42,000. Gone will be the affordable seats where you would find the real fans!
