For the past month or two he's been making noises like he wanted to run for president. Today he announces that he will not run. What changed his mind?
My theory is that his recent campaign was not for the presidential nomination. It was for attention, so he could hype the ratings for his TV show, The Celebrity Apprentice. You see, even though Donald Trump is enormously successful in the business world, he is enormously shallow. Talking about being president has put his mug on TV - almost every night - for the past few weeks. Face time on TV should help his TV show.
Higher ratings means higher advertising revenue. It's all about the money.
