U.S Senate, the EPA & Cows w/Gas

Life sure is complicated! Thank God we have the U.S. Senate to keep the EPA in check!

From the N.Y. Post:

WASHINGTON -- Sen. Charles Schumer helped snuff out an odorous "gas tax" that could have fined upstate (New York) cows for their flatulent contributions to global warming.

The Interior Department Appropriations Bill passing through the Senate contains language that explicitly squelches any efforts by the EPA to try to control carbon-dioxide or methane emissions from livestock production.

The "cow tax," if it were ever implemented, could have run to $175 per dairy cow and $20 per hog.

I say we chow down on baked beans and march on the EPA!
