It's become fashionable for the media to suggest that we should all suddenly become responsible and conserve energy and preserve the environment, in short, to "Go Green!"
Well, the place where I work "went green." At considerable expense, we converted our Body Shop's paint inventory to environmently friendly-based automobile exterior paint. I sent a news release to both of the local TV stations. I thought that, hey! each of the stations have space on their web sites devoted to the mission of going green. Right? Wrong! No response from the media. Not an interview, not an "atta-boy," nadda.
I can't believe it! At my advanced age - I'm still learning things!
