Vic Mizzy Dies

Vic who? The name may not ring a bell, but at least some of his work is familiar, very familiar. Vic was 93 years old. He died in his Bel Air, California home. His claim to fame? Mr. Mizzy was a song writer. He wrote songs that were recorded by Dean Martin, Doris Day, Perry Como and Billie Holiday in the '40s and '50s. His hits included "Pretty Kitty Blue Eyes," "My Dreams are Getting Better All the Time," and "With a Hey and a Hi and a Ho-Ho-Ho."

Vic had a website. You can visit itnow for more information on this incredible man at www.vicmizzy.com.

He won't be remembered for those as much as his creation of the theme songs for "The Addams Family" and "Green Acres." As a matter of fact, he sang the Addams Family song for the TV show!

Vic was a talented guy. He and those of his kind were rare and will be missed.
