There's really nothing unusual about a politician lying to us, is there? Well, Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal is running for the U.S. Senate and he's going around telling people that he served in Viet Nam. The only problem is, he did not! This is an insult to every brave American boy who risked his ass in 'Nam. It's an insult to the families of these brave ones, too. Lying about being in combat is beyond shameful. To me, it's more disgraceful than being caught having an affair while holding public office.
I hope that the good people of Connecticut will wake up and see to it that this guy spends the rest of his life chasing ambulances...
