For the past 10 years, the Indianapolis Colts have done their pre-season training at Rose-Hulman Institute Of Technology in Terre Haute. Well, it has been decided that Manning and his crew will be training at their former training camp in Anderson, Indiana. Big deal? Yes, if you own a business in Terre Haute or if you are aware that a dollar spent in Terre Haute will be re-spent, here, for up to eight times before leaving the local economy. So, you don't own a restaurant, maybe you work for a company where the restaurant owner will spend a few bucks? Make sense yet? Having a winning team train locally was very cool. The local media have reported the story without answering the question WHY? My guess is that MONEY may enter the equation at some point.
We must remember that our beloved Colts have a history of making quiet exits...ask anybody in Baltimore.
