McCartney Slams Bush

I have been a fan of Paul McCartney for 46 years! He and John Lennon wrote some of my favorite songs. So, last night, Sir Paul is honored at our White House. He is awarded the Library Of Congress' Gershwin Prize For Popular Music. Upon receiving the award he thanked the Prez and said that the award has special meaning coming from the Library Of Congress and from a President who actually knows what a library is.

This, of course, is a slam on George W. Bush. From which college did McCartney graduate? I may be a little old fashioned, but is it OK for a foreigner to bash a former US President while receiving an American award, at the American White House in a ceremony being funded by Americans? It's OK for Americans to poke fun at our guy...he's one of us. You, Paul, are not.

Go home, Paul and until you get there, shut up!
