The price of Burritos at a San Antonio Taco Bell was the cause of an eventual shootout, yesterday.
This guy walks into the restaurant and orders 7 Beefy Crunch burritos. The price had been $.99 cents per, during a recent promotion. The price had since gone up...to $1.49 each. The customer gets upset and pulls out a handgun and shoots it at the guy behind the counter. It was a BB gun...and he missed.
Our budget challenged burrito buddy leaves the restaurant and when he gets to his car, he places a handgun and an assault rifle on the top of his car. The Taco Bell manager locks the restaurant's outside doors and calls the police. When the cops arrive, burrito boy shoots at them!
He retreats to a nearby motel, police follow, he shoots assault rifle at police. Three hours later, Police use tear gas to get their guy.
Nobody was injured!
Customer's name is not being released, since he hasn't been formally charged. He is expected to be charged with three counts of attempted capital murder, additional charges are possible.
Two ironies immediately come to mind:
1. The man never did get his burritos.
2. Where he's going, the food is free.
