American Toyota Plants Close

More problems for Toyota! If it isn't another massive recall, it's this:

The March 11 earthquake and tsunami is causing Toyota Plants in the U.S. to close. Business Insider reports that the problem lies in the inability of Toyota's Japanese suppliers to produce parts for the American Plants. Roughly 15% of a Toyota produced in America consists of Japan supplied parts.

The shutdown is temporary and will affect about American 25,000 workers.

I should point out that Toyota also uses American based parts suppliers. This can't be good news for them.
