Giants' Fan Remains Critical

Bryan Stow is a 42 year old paramedic in Santa Clara, California. He is also a fan of the San Francisco Giants. Being a Giant's fan has put him on the brink of death following an opening day visit to Dodger Stadium.

After the game, he was taunted and attacked by two Dodgers' fans. He was beaten unconscious. His condition is critical as he remains in an induced coma. You may follow his medical progress by visiting a site that has been set up by his friends: support4stow.blogspot.com.

This kind of behavior sickens me. Being passionate about a sports franchise should have nothing to do with violence. To me, this is worse than a hate crime. The two punks responsible for this outrage should be punished to the max.

I look for the franchises to encourage sportsmanship within the ranks of their fans...unless the class-less, pea brained owners ignore the problem.
