A southern Indiana man was arrested Tuesday night on a battery charge for allegedly making an ass of himself by choking a referee at his daughters 8th grade basketball game!
Forty-one-year-old Robert Hensley is married to the Switzerland County Prosecutor Monica Hensley. Mr. Hensley rushed the court after the ref called a foul on two girls.
The Madison Police Chief said that the choking occured as he was attempting to remove Hensley and another man from the court.
Hensley was released Tuesday night from the Jefferson County Jail after posting bond.
Parents - please don't try doing anything similar to this. Young female athletes can get embarrassed easily!
