Bobby Hebb Dies at 72

Singer, musician and songwriter Bobby Hebb died today in Nashville. He was 72. Family members say that Hebb was battling lung cancer. Many of us remember his 1966 hit record, "Sunny." He said he wrote the song after his brother died. This was during the same week in 1963 that President Kennedy was killed. The song was performed by several other artists before he recorded it and made it as famous as it is today. At the height of his career, Hebb toured with the Beatles!

Great song. Bobby Hebb, R.I.P.
