Dutch Military Has Money Problems

Things are tough all over. The Dutch military has postponed the addition of more than 400 new recruits. THEY CAN'T PAY THEM! The Dutch military is unionized. Medical and technical personnel are still being sought. This crunch happens after Sunday's announcement of the withdrawal of some 2,000 Dutch troops from Afghanistan. The country is aiming for a $26 million budget reduction for 2011.

It's refreshing to see that there are politicians outside of the USA who are also not able to "balance a checkbook!"
