You may think that the economy is in the toilet, but the folks at Fox won't agree! This year's Super Bowl, scheduled for Sunday, February 6, 2011 has been sold out! It is unusual for this to happen so early, so far in advance of the game. We are talking about network commercials. Local stations have brief slots available at the end of the first and third quarters, halftime and immediately before and after the game.
Fox won't say how much they are charging for the commercials. Last year, CBS picked up between $2.5 million and $3 million dollars for a 30-second spot. Considering the ratings, these prices are dirt cheap!
