The Twinkie Diet

Iam particularly happy to bring you this story.

There's a nuitrition professor at Kansas State University who conducted an experiment. For ten solid weeks, he ate Twinkees and powdered donuts.

He lost 27 pounds!

Mark Haub calls it his "convenience store diet" where he ate a Twinkie every three hours, occasionally alternating with Little Debbie snacks, Doritos and Oreos for variety. His experiment upheld his premise, that in weight loss, pure calorie counting is what matters most -- not the nutritional value of the food.

Here's the bonus: His "bad" cholesterol, or LDL, dropped 20% and his "good" cholesterol, or HDL, increased by 20%. He also lowered the level of triglycerides, which are a form of fat, by 39%.

The only problem that I can see is that Professor Haub will not be able to get rich off the "Convenience Store Diet" book. You already read the entire menu!
