He was the absolute best! Nobody came close. Reggie Jackson called him the "Voice Of God." Bob Sheppard was the Public Address Announcer at Yankee Stadium from 1951 until 2007. The guy was such a pro, he admitted that he preferred announcing the names of Latin - American players. To understand, you'd have to hear him in action!
