Government Is Nosey About Your Weight

What would you say if I told you that there is a modern, industrialized country which plans to obtain height/weight stats on each and every one of it's citizens? Well, it's The good old USA:

All Americans, by 2014 will be required to have an individual obesity rating electronically recorded. It has been determined that under the new health stimulus law passed by President Barack Obama recently, that all Americans, by 2014, will be required to have electronic health records which will include their height, weight and body mass index (BMI).

Body Mass Index is figured by dividing your weight (in pounds) by the square of your height, in inches. If you are 5'5", you would be dividing your weight (in pounds) by 4,225 (65 X 65). Take that number and multiply by 703.

If the result is below 18.5, you are underweight - visit a McDonalds as soon as possible!
If your BMI is 18.5 - 25.9 you are normal. There are not too many of you and the rest of us hate you.
If your number is 25 - 29.9 you are overweight. You are in good company. You may want to switch from beer or mixed drinks to wine.
If your BMI is 30 or more, you are obese. This is not me talking, it's the government. To avoid being obese, you must eat less, eat healthier and exercise (move your body) more. You may want to buy some Richard Simmons videos. If you are still obese, you can do everything that you can to vote out the government officials who have determined that you are obese.
This may be good advice, regardless of your BMI.
