The Return of Soup Nazi

Soup Nazi or "The Original SoupMan" as he prefers, reopened his 100 sqare foot soup stand on 55th street in Manhattan, last week.

Al Yeganeh had closed the place in 2004 and sold the rights to a company that now has 22 locations. The soup can also be purchased on-line! He still controls the brand and his soups, which include lobster bisque, mulligatawny, crab bisque and lentil.
He had been selling soup, really good soup, for 20 years when Jerry Seinfeld created the Soup Nazi character based on Yeganeh. He considers himself to be an "artist" and was never impressed with Seinfeld or his show. The rules still apply: "Pick the soup you want! Have your money ready! Move to the extreme left after ordering!"

If you did not stick to the rules: "No soup for you!"
