Joey "Jaws" Chestnut did it again" The man is a legend! He captured Nathan's Famous' hot dog eating title. An annual event, now in it's 95th year on New York's Coney Island at the corner of Surf and Stillwell Avenues. Chestnut consumed 54 hot dogs (and buns) in 10 minutes. The competition is held outdoors, this year in 90 degree heat. Following the win, Joey proudly hoisted a bottle of Pepto Bismol. The action was broadcast live on ESPN3! Chestnut's personal best is 64. His "day job" is in construction, but he makes roughly $150,000 a year in competitive eating. (You gotta eat!) Oddly enough, Mrs. General Tom is fixing hot dogs, tonight. Unfortunately, they are not Nathan's Famous....the absolute BEST hot dogs in the world!
